The advertising of products on the site is the way in which we are able to display all the items available to buy through the site. We aim to keep items in stock at all times but due to the very nature of our product range i.e. handmade means that it is inevitable there will be interruptions in supply in which case some products will be shown as 'Out of Stock'.

It should not be possible to order any item that is not in stock. You can only place items in your basket that are currently in stock meaning that you can shop with confidence that the items that you have chosen will be with you within a few days.

However, on rare occasions, stock levels may be incorrect and you will be contacted. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of dispatch' email sent once your order has been successfully picked and we can confirm stock levels have been checked.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd on the website, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd will operate as a variation to these terms and condition or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of either of them.

Please be aware that whilst we take great care to accurately describe the products shown on our website, all of our products are handmade from natural materials and as such their composition and colour may vary slightly from that shown and are usually in some way unique.

We will do everything possible to ensure that you can be confident of making a secure, risk-free purchase from us but in the unlikely event that you are unhappy in any way with our service or products, please contact us immediately and we will attempt to put things right or arrange for a return. When you make a purchase from The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd website i.e. thecornishpixiecompany.com:

1) You will receive an electronic confirmation upon receipt of your order as soon as your order has been received (unless your order has been made over the telephone).

2) You will receive notification of despatch usually within 1-3 working days of your order being processed.

4) On arrival at the delivery address all orders must be signed for. In the event of no one being available to sign for the order notification will be left inviting you to arrange a suitable day for delivery when some one can sign for the order.

The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd want you to shop in the knowledge that you are getting the best products direct from the Cornish Pixie Company's workshop. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT. We invite purchases from Britain and overseas. The postage and packaging charges are all displayed prior to check out, according to your postal address.

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling only (GBP). Your credit card company will charge you in your country's currency at that day's exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd.

If the items that you receive are damaged or unsuitable you must inform us within 7 days of receipt. Email our customer service at info@thecornishpixiecompany.com detailing your invoice number and the item you wish to return and we will issue you with a Returns Number. Write the Returns Number on the dispatch note found on the outside of the parcel, replace the item in the parcel and send it back to us at The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd, Atlantic Highway, Kilkhampton, EX23 9RG, Cornwall, Britain. We will then be happy to make a refund/exchange providing the items are returned complete, in perfect (postal damage aside) condition and in their original packaging within 7 days of receiving your Returns Number.

Items returned outside these guidelines will only be subject to credit. We will also not be able to refund / exchange any item that has been especially ordered outside of our current range i.e. a bespoke product. This does not affect your statutory rights.

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the item(s) to us. When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Upon receipt of items returned as faulty, The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd will arrange for an exchange. The Cornish Pixie Company Ltd decision is final.
